The Lord's Prayer
Compare the Prayer in the Gospels
So he said to them, “When you pray, say:
Father, may your name be revered as holy.
May your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us.
And do not bring us to the time of trial.”
“Pray, then, in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
may your name be revered as holy.
May your kingdom come.
May your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us to the time of trial,
but rescue us from the evil one.
Interesting... Hmmm...
It turns out that the Lord's Prayer might not be a verbatim quote from Jesus. When you compare the text in the Bible with what's recited in many churches, it's clear there have been a few historical tweaks—a bit like different denominations putting their own unique spin on it,.
According to scholars, while the prayer might not be an exact transcription of Jesus' words, those famous phrases we thought to be a part of Jesus' message of love.

Kid Version of the Lord's Prayer:
Our Special Prayer to God
Dear God, who is everywhere,
You're awesome, and we celebrate you and your love!
Help us do what you want each day,
Help us be kind, loving, and fun in ways that you would want.
Give us what we need right now,
Make sure we're fed and safe from hard things.
Forgive us when we do wrong,
Help us say sorry to others who we have hurt.
Help us be okay when others hurt us.
Let us not to bad things, and take care of things the Earth need.
For your way is best, full of power and glory!
Amen! (That's like saying "You got it, God!")
